A few years ago a blank was pressed with the intention of building a mini "Lightning Bug". The idea was to take the drop-through truck mounts, the fully cutout nose and tail, but shorten it up, give it some camber and flex and make the ultimate "drop-through carver". A board that could handle large wheels without wheelbite, be stiff yet totally pump-able, and make an all-around board perfect for everything from campus commuting to aggressive hill carving, to GS slalom racing.

Well... things got crazy and this blank sat around, literally gathering dust... for years. Terrible, I know. It's since been unearthed, cut and shaped, and is even a better ride than originally expected. The very first production model is in the permanent care/ownership of the "Timeship Racing" crew (of New Mexico ditch-riding fame) who have beaten the hell out of it and given full approval in the form of this statement, "This board is SICK!!!" They would know. You don't have to take my word for it.

The Mosquito is known to fit the following trucks: Randal, Bear, Gullwing, Tracker, Holey, Bennett, Revenge, and Independent. Others may fit as well, but these definitely work. The Mosquito drop-throughs are drilled old-school and at present, Paris trucks do not fit.
