For 2008 we've completely redesigned the Firefly with full cutouts front and back, "truck wells", three wheel base options, deep, radial concave, an inch of flat on the centerline, and a touch of rocker to lock you in. Prototypes were torture-tested by the Insect team at the "Ditch Slap" and "Danger Bay 777", final design decisions were made and now we're making it available to everyone.

The Firefly is stiff, but lively. With 9 plies of birch and heavy triaxial fiberglass throughout, the result is a deck with incredible stability and just enough flex to load up in a turn and shoot out of it. Truck wells let you drop your trucks halfway into the deck to get you low, but still allow for risers to achieve more turning leverage. Dial it in as you see fit.
