No ultra-aggressive carving here, though it's still very capable in the carving arena. The Big Bug returns to the Source. This is classic sidewalk surfing and nose-riding at its best! Feel the flow when you take the Big Bug out for a mellow cruise or a sunset hill session. Guaranteed to remind you why you still love skateboarding! Its long wheelbase and lower camber also make it a consumate hill-bomber, if that's the way you lean.

This deck comes standard in a medium flex, but like all Insect boards, lighter and stiffer flexes are available to suit your weight or riding style. The Big Bug is available with bamboo-birch hybrid core, sandwiched between a triaxial and unidirectional fiberglass exoskeleton. A super-tough, heat-cured epoxy resin binds it all together creating an extremely responsive flex. The peak of the camber is slightly forward of center where most of your weight and turning-power are centered. The logo is laminated into the glass matrix making it absolutely permanent.

For an ultra-high performance system we offer Seismic trucks (130mm, 155mm, or 180mm) with a 45° fast-turning front truck and a 30° stable rear truck. This board can also be set up with 45° baseplates front and back to further increase its turning capabilities.
