Maryhill Festival of Speed

Damn... that was a good time!

Congratulations to Insect team rider, Spencer Smith, who placed 3rd in Juniors and made it to the 2nd round in Open. Prouder parents I've never seen! I'm sure they'll keep his ego in check though. Good luck with that! ;)

Jeremy qualified for finals early on and represented too. He also raced on the world's first carbon nanotech Firefly. At the tech inspection, this deck weighed in lighter than the foam core boards, even with a 3/8" birch core. Booyaa!!!

And special thanks need to be made to the irrepressible Ken. Without his help, a lot of the Insect presence would have been impossible. You're crazy, but you have my undying gratitude! And Paul... you regulated and made things happen far beyond anything I would have imagined. Thank you. Thanks too to Elijah and Trevor for holding down the fort.

And thanks to John Ozman and the IGSA for putting on a killer event! Hopefully this will happen again next year. Same time. Same place.

And lastly... congratulations to "Scoot" Smith who won an absolutely decisive victory for the second year in a row! Damn...

I'm also with Scoot and 99% of everyone else at the race.... "Daggers Suck!!!"

"The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry." - John Steinbeck

Things happened. Things are getting better. Things are getting fixed, permanently. Long turnaround times will become a thing of the past. This is not easy. Thank you for your patience. It is sincerely appreciated.

Steve
